2022 Sunshine Ace Hardware Big Green EGGfest to be held on April 2nd
from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Riverside Park in Bonita Springs
NAPLES, FL – February 28, 2022 – On Saturday, April 2, hundreds of foodies, fans, and EGGheads from around the state will descend on Riverside Park in Bonita Springs to share in their love for grilling on the Big Green Egg.
Dozens of Chefs are expected to prepare their secret recipes for competition in the Amateur and Professional divisions. In addition to grilled meats, the EGGfest has attracted teams competing with a variety of recipes including vegetarian options. Among those vying for the title of 2022 EGGhead Grill Master of the year and Voter’s Choice awards are Chef Asif Syed, Social Media Influencer Shannon Morgan, and founder of Big Green EGGers of South Florida Ron Dimpflmaier. For those more interested in tasting the competitor’s recipes, Taster tickets start at $20 and include bite-sized samples from each of the Chefs. VIP Tickets start at $50 and include unlimited beer and wine in addition to the bite-sized samples from the Chefs. Additionally, there will be live music, food and fun for the whole family, live demonstrations and the latest in EGGcessories.
Proceeds from the Sunshine Ace Hardware Big Green EGGfest will provide youth leadership development opportunities for children through Youth Leadership Collier, Junior Deputies of Collier County, Rotary, Kiwanis, Collier County 4H Association, and the Immokalee Foundation.
